Improving healthy behavior has never resulted from broad stroke actions or one and done maneuvers (even though the majority of available market solutions are often structured that way). Real and lasting behavior change follows incremental advances, adjustments and improvement over time – behavior patterns that are consistently reinforced and supported. Behavior is constant. So, too, is behavior change.
In an evolved culture of smart phone and mobile device connected consumers, it only makes sense behavior change solutions be just as agile.
RedBrick Health recently developed a mobile version of our consumer-enabled healthy behavior change technology – allowing participants to track and manage their daily behavior and rewards on the go. With a few easy clicks across their smart phone screen, participants can log activities at the gym or on the trail, update biometrics at the doctor’s office or on the way home, check their healthy behavior reward accrual on the fly or on the bus. And because the technology was built specifically for current mobile devices, the user interface is simple, convenient and fun.
What makes the RedBrick web-based mobile platform stand apart from other more static health behavior tracking modules is its full integration into the full RedBrick system – merged data from the complete RedBrick program ensuring the consumer’s mobile experience is as personalized and relevant as the remainder of their journey on the RedBrick path of healthy behavior change. Participant health assessment responses, health screening data, profile preferences, etc., coalesce the consumer’s experience tap by tap across their smart phone click screen, making mobile just another one of the many ways consumers remain connected to their whole health improvement experience.
We recognize healthy behavior change is rarely easy or simple. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be convenient. When woven effectively into the fabric of our daily lives, sustained behavior change becomes that much more obtainable. In the ever-expanding spider webbing of time sucking mobile apps and clickstreams, isn’t it nice to hear of one designed to clear the clutter and improve our health rather than merely take up space on our icon-crowded iPhones?

Being able to track and log your healthy choices is a great idea! It shows you the progress you are making and keeps you motivated. Having it tracked also makes you more accountable to yourself.
